While at work today one
of my employees said something that placed me into thought. We were talking
about life and how much free time we actually have. She mentioned to another
manager and me that as full time workers in retail our schedules are all over
the place and we don't have a great deal time to enjoy things
or have a set schedule. Her words made me think about the things I love to do and how much time I actually have to do them. She is right, I don't have much time as I would love to have in order to travel, write, volunteer, mentor and spend time with family and friends, all things I love. I realized that my free time is built around my work schedule.

Its 2014 and I am going
to work hard in order to create self time for myself and take pleasure in the
things in life I love to do. I may be tired when I get off work but I am going
to make sure to stop and take a view of the things around me.
