The disasters began on March 11, 2011(JST) with a massive 8.9/9.0 magnitude earthquake that hit the Pacific Ocean nearby Northeastern Japan around 2:46pm. The substantial earth quake triggered the tsunami and later led to explosions nuclear plants. Because of this disaster half a million of Japanese families have been forced out of their home.
